'Tis snowing...

Yep, it's snowing today--at a nice pace, if that's the right word. It's not snowing slowly but it's not like a flurry or anything. Went outside to get a couple pix.

Christmas is coming!

YAY!!! Christmas is coming!!! It's kind of weird that Christmas is on a Tuesday but oh, well...

I'm still excited! My dad got off early yesterday (Thursday) and won't have to go back until Wednesday.

Tonight is the CHEER H.S. Christmas party. I'm happy! Not that you care but I'm planning on wearing this green shirt I have with a collar and puffy sleevs and my little, shiny black shoes. Maybe I'll wear this vest that I have over it...I don't know.

Oh, here's something to tell you--yesterday, I applied for a job at Chili's (they're building one by my house) yesterday. I'm going back, to take a "personality test". I'm kind of afraid of what I'm going to be asked. I'm also afraid I won't be able to pick an answer because I can be pretty undecisive at times. Also, guess how LONG the test is supposed to be! 45 minutes to an HOUR!!! Geez, what do they want, my whole life story??? The guy also said that they send off the personality test to this company and they'll tell them whether to discontinue it or not. (I guess that means they tell them whether to hire me or not? I don't know.)

But he was interested in that I can work during the day. He said I am too young to be a server but that I could be a hostess and that they're LOOKING for a daytime host so...I hope it works out! :) Well, I am hoping it works out but I'm...SCARED!!! I hope I'd be a good hostess...I'm just afraid of dealing with people that I don't know.

Oh my gosh--I just realized something--would I have to answer the PHONE??!! AHHH!!!

Alright, well, you probably lost interest in this post a long time ago so...I'll end it now.

Well, today, is Thursday...Hmm...Not very exciting so far but it is only 8:24AM. So there's ice everywhere as there has been for the last...week, I think. We [Mom, Hannah, and myself] have been in the house for all of that time [except for yesterday when I went over to help Patti move =( ] and are kind of tired of being stuck here. I heard that it's supposed to snow/ice/whatever more this weekend. Yippee. I miss fall.
Yesterday, when Patti's dad came to pick me up to take me to their now "old" house to help pack, I almost fell down in the driveway. Then, as I was just in front of the car, Patti's dad [Mr. P] honked at me! I wanted to smack that guy around. So...anyways. I helped Patti pack up/clean out her room a little bit. Then we just took pictures [hopefully I'll post those up here soon or at least some of them]. I got some good ones.
Hopefully, the ice will melt soon and then I can go outside without falling down first thing. That's a nice thought. =)

Pros: outside it looks pretty and since I'm stuck inside I have enough time to get my schoolwork done
Cons: I can't go outside and since I'm stuck inside I have enough time to get my schoolwork done
[Yes I know I put the schoolwork thing twice--it's good and bad in my mind.]

This morning I got up and was walking through the dining room and saw [in my peripheral vision] white through the blinds on the sliding glass door. White? I thought that was strange. Could it be snow? I wondered. Sure enough, it had snowed last night without telling me. So, tonight I got some pictures of Hannah and I standing in the snow. [I have to give credit where credit is due—it was my mother’s idea.]

I love the way untouched snow looks—so smooth. I wish that I had hollow bones like an elf. Then I could walk on top of the snow without disturbing it.



I am a happy person.
