TEENPACT PIX!!!

I had a BLAST at Teenpact this week! It was amazing! It was nice to just get away from things for a while. At the same time, I had fun learning about government. The Doc comittee rocks! [Even more than the tiff, pda, pdf, or jpeg committees!]

Allison, one of my roommates

many of the Teenpact teens back at the hotel after changing out of skirts and suits playing a game called Aushka [I think]. There was jumping involved--that's all I know. But I took this picture and liked it.
Adam, one of the staff members in his pink, fluffy slippers [turns out he's 16! Just crazy...]. He wore those slippers every night.

Cameron, Garrett, and Taylor

Taylor [far left] running for representative!
among the people: Carsyn, Allison, and at the end myself.A couple of my roommates: Johanna & Allison. And myself, of course.

the Oklahoma capital building!

Taylor and myself after the journey home

I had a WONDERFUL time while I was at Teenpact! It was really cool to be able to just go traipsing[spelling?] about the Capital building. I learned a new game called "Do you love your neighbor?" [<--maybe we could play that at teen game night!] I made new friends. I got to know somewhat-already-known friends. I got to be in the house of representatives when a bill was passed [even though it wasn't a good bill, I don't think]! I got to take part in a mock legislature [I mostly watched, though]. I did lots of fun stuff! EEEEEE!!! [<--That's the sound of me smiling. You've probably heard that sound if I've taken your picture before. You didn't know smiling had a sound effect, did you? Well, now you do!]

EVERYONE HAS TO GO TO TEENPACT NEXT YEAR!!!

-------------------

edit: John has brought it to my attention that I did not include the picture of how I looked when I heard Garrett scream [ask me about it at game night or something] so here's the picture! The quality isn't very good--just so you know.

I'm the one leaning on the wall for support. Can you see the black hole? That's my giant mouth, gaping open in shock at the sound I've just heard. (Also, notice that the girl sitting in front of my has covered her face--not that that will help her ears any...)

Christmas is coming!

YAY!!! Christmas is coming!!! It's kind of weird that Christmas is on a Tuesday but oh, well...

I'm still excited! My dad got off early yesterday (Thursday) and won't have to go back until Wednesday.

Create yours at BlingyBlob.com!
Tonight is the CHEER H.S. Christmas party. I'm happy! Not that you care but I'm planning on wearing this green shirt I have with a collar and puffy sleevs and my little, shiny black shoes. Maybe I'll wear this vest that I have over it...I don't know.

Oh, here's something to tell you--yesterday, I applied for a job at Chili's (they're building one by my house) yesterday. I'm going back, to take a "personality test". I'm kind of afraid of what I'm going to be asked. I'm also afraid I won't be able to pick an answer because I can be pretty undecisive at times. Also, guess how LONG the test is supposed to be! 45 minutes to an HOUR!!! Geez, what do they want, my whole life story??? The guy also said that they send off the personality test to this company and they'll tell them whether to discontinue it or not. (I guess that means they tell them whether to hire me or not? I don't know.)

But he was interested in that I can work during the day. He said I am too young to be a server but that I could be a hostess and that they're LOOKING for a daytime host so...I hope it works out! :) Well, I am hoping it works out but I'm...SCARED!!! I hope I'd be a good hostess...I'm just afraid of dealing with people that I don't know.

Oh my gosh--I just realized something--would I have to answer the PHONE??!! AHHH!!!

Alright, well, you probably lost interest in this post a long time ago so...I'll end it now.

PRAY!!!

Took some mug shots today...

today was the yearbook club meeting. I took some mug shots and here are some of them...

Elizabeth

Katelyn [this one may or may not go into the yearbook but I thought it was funny]

Erica [she was just standing there and I said, "oh, that's great". she then said--"I wasn't posing". I've done that with Patti before. She'll just being doing something and I'll say, "stay like that! I gotta take a picture!"]

Yearbook Club pics

Here are some pictures of the CHEER yearbook club. We had a little photo shoot so we'd have several pictures to choose from for the yearbook club yearbook page. I had fun and it was even on the same day as my hair cut so I had "fresh" hair. LOL
left to right: Mandi [leader], Cat, Sprite, Elizabeth, and Rebecca

The picture below is my favorite [no, it's not just because I'm in the middle, though it's pretty cool that I'm in the middle] =)
fun...
[I hadn't gotten the memo that this wasn't a silly picture]

[still clueless]

This is a lot like the one that was chosen for our page [why'd she have to pick that one? I REALLY don't like myself in that] =P
funness...

Yearbook Skit at CHEER moms' meeting

Yesterday, Mandi M. [the leader of the yearbook club] and I performed a skit at the CHEER moms' meeting to remind everyone about why the yearbook's important. Speaking of which, I've been so focused on getting everyone else to do the yearbook and making field trip pages for the yearbook that I haven't done OUR family page so...I should probably do that.
I have two videos on here but they're actually the same video. One I put on photobucket and the other on youtube--each, for me, have their pros and cons.
The first one's on photobucket so John, you probably won't be able to see it. Scroll down to see the one on youtube that you CAN see.

Hey! People! Yeah, YOU!

Also, if you go to "view my profile" [or whatever it says], there's a thing on the profile that says "wishlist". Click on it and you can see the wishlist I created on Froogle! It's so cool [thus one of the labels for this post is "coolness".] =D
I have posted pictures from the most recent teen game night along with a group photo from the high school book discussion class at co-op that was taken today on my OTHER blog [ http://www.lotsapix2.blogspot.com/ ]. You need to check it out! [Comments are REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATED!]

Geography fair video

Yes, I know the sound's off--I don't understand why but everytime I put a video on Youtube, the sound gets all messed up. It's weird.

Geography Fair

Tonight I took part in a geography fair. The country I did was Ireland [because I love it dearly]. I'm posting pictures from the even for all of you who weren't able to make it. My Aunt Betsy and Hayley came [did I mention that I wanted to hug you first? LOL] and so did my friend, John and his mom [Mrs. M].
Hannah made some Irish Soda Bread [made with baking soda, instead of yeast] as her contribution. The bread was a BIG hit. I was very surprised--I mean, it was good bread but--it's bread. If it was chocolate or something, yeah, I'd understand but--it's bread. John kept saying "can I have another piece?" It was funny. And then later on this little boy wanted to know if he could have the ENTIRE THING! We didn't have anything to give the boy to hold the bread in so he said he'd just carry it in his hands--it was pretty funny.
I was able to make use of my new-found knowledge of Ireland. You should have come! It was great. I had fun sharing information.
I got to see John's braceless smile. He seems pretty happy. I bet it feels weird. I mean, you go for a while with stuff in your mouth and then it's taken out.

It was fun. I think we'll do it again next year.

I hope you enjoyed this post and the pictures!
