I DROVE, I DROVE, I DROVE!

Well, today, Dad took me out to drive. I was pretty scared about going. :O LOL Yeah...
He took me out to Coweta where he had me drive around and park in an empty parking lot for at least a half hour.
THEN he had me go out onto the ROAD! AHHHH! And then a HIGHWAY! It was pretty crazy. [We went that same route twice]
And THEN he had me drive from Coweta to the Reasor's by my house!
By the time I got there, I was pretty stressed/frazzled! It wasn't Dad's fault--he was pretty good. I was just REALLY stressed out! Dad said he thought I was going to break the steering wheel in half because of how tightly I was holding it. He said I kept drifting to the right--well, YEAH! I didn't want to run into somebody! But then again, I didn't want to drive off the road either so...
*sigh*
It was PRETTY crazy. But...
I DID IT!!!
I'm pretty happy. Mom wants me to drive again tomorrow [some] on our way to Missouri. AHHH! Wow...I can do this. Breathe deeply--I can do this...Wow.....
Well, I still did it!!!
Boo-yah!
During this LOVELY drive, I met a funeral procession [which, of course, we stopped for] and...did I mention that I drove on the highway???? Okay, I admit it--I'm kind of proud of myself...
Oh, and by the way, this was the first time I'd EVER driven on the streets--I'd only driven through our neighborhood and in a parking lot. 'Twas QUITE crazy...

I HAVE MY DRIVER'S PERMIT!!!

Okay, I know everyone in the county already has theirs but now I have one, too!!! Yee-ha! I'm very happy. We were at the tag agency just to get the permit CARD for OVER AN HOUR!!! It was awful. They had to take my picture/have me say whether or not I would be an organ donor [which I am]/sign my name/take my fingerprints 3 times!!! Their machinery was acting extremely CRAPPY!!! UGH!!! The lady didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to give people their driver's licenses either. We got there around 4pm. They were going to send me to another tag agency at 5pm [which is when the tag agency we went to was supposed to close] but they finally fixed it and by 5:45pm we were leaving! That part was MUCH, MUCH worse than the test part. But now I have my permit!! =) [You should ask me about that story sometime.]
Before I took the permit test I had to go and take my reading test [make sure that I was, at least, reading at an 8th grade level]. We asked the lady about the score I made on the test afterwards and she said "sophomore in college". So, I'd say that's pretty good...LOL :D

Here's a video that I took the first night I was in New Jersey. [I'm a little blinky-fied. Sorry.]

Oh, the things you can think!

And why do we fall, Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.” [Batman Begins]

Well, lots of things have happened and are going to be happening…Let’s go through the list of what’s already happened, shall we?
-I’ve watched Cinderella 3—Don’t waste your time! [<--not that you were really wanting to watch it in the first place] It’s weird and at the end it’s creepy! Now I need to go back and watch the first Cinderella just so I can remember how GOOD it was! -I’ve watched Eragon—Pretty good. Great special effects. The dragon was awesome and the main guy [Eragon aka Ed Speelers] was pretty handsome. But the movie itself…I don’t know. It seemed rushed—like the Chronicles of Narnia, only worse, I think. [No, I’m not saying the Chronicles of Narnia was bad. It was good but it would have been better if it had been longer and if they’d included the part where they said that Aslan was dangerous but very good.] I think it would have been better if it had just been longer. The talking via thoughts thing was kind of weird but I think that’s just something that’d be hard to pull off.

-I’ve gone to the ranch—that was fun, scary, and exciting. Why? See the next one.
-I’ve fallen off a horse [while it was running pretty darn fast]—I wouldn’t recommend it. It was very scary. But now I can say, “Hey, I’ve fallen off a horse!” I’ve always wanted an adventure—but that was definitely NOT what I was expecting. Adventures rarely are what you expect, though. I cried [because I was scared and shocked] and was very shaken up but not seriously injured [just a couple scraped fingers and a hurting lower back—falling on your butt will do that]. If it hadn’t been me who had fallen off, it could have been someone older or younger who was worse off afterwards. When I sat up after falling from the horse, I saw my glasses and camera [in its case of course] lying on the ground but they were better off than I was from the fall! I'm so thankful for God's protection because it could have been A LOT worse.

[I'll post pix from the ranch later.]

-I’ve slipped and almost fallen in the shower—not fun. I was having flashbacks of falling off the horse.

-I’ve slipped on water and fallen in the kitchen—not fun at ALL. Then I was just mad because I felt like I kept falling!

-I’ve gotten a new dress [just in time for Easter!]—It’s pretty a lovely!

-I’ve gone to Red Robin to celebrate Hannah’s 12th birthday!—I LOVE Red Robin! I had a jr. royal red robin, awesome French fries, and shared a “sky high” something-or-other awesome dessert. =)

And that’s pretty much it.
Sincerely,
