
I found an interesting article from "Time" [my mom got it via e-mail] about T.V. and babies. Here's the link to the site Baby Einsteins: Not So Smart After All and below is some of the article. It kind of makes you think.

"The claim always seemed too good to be true: park your infant in front of a video and, in no time, he or she will be talking and getting smarter than the neighbor's kid. In the latest study on the effects of popular videos such as the 'Baby Einstein' and 'Brainy Baby' series, researchers find that these products may be doing more harm than good. And they may actually delay language development in toddlers."

People don't need to park their kids in front of the tv all day, they need to be spending time with them themselves. I never liked baby einstine when i first saw it...
I just read that today through e-mail. It kind of suprised me, actually. I figured letting your kids watch really educational tv shows would be really good for them!
