I REALLY need to go to bed but want to type up these notes I've made first:
----
-I love cemetaries--they're so beautiful with all the stones. I don't ever want to have one of those flat gravestones [or whatever they're called]--give me a cool pillar thing or little statue or something. I also like going to cemetaries to find cool last names for characters in my stories. [Am I sounding morbid? I don't mean to.]
----
-Knowing history is important becauseif you do not know history, you are destined to repeat it. Now, you might say, "well, I'm not going to become president or anything so I don't really need to read history--it doesn't affect me". That's where you're wrong, my friend! Especially, if you are an American, it does affect you and you do need to know your history! If you are an American who cares enough about the future of this country [which includes your future] to use your right to vote, you should know your history. When you vote, you are affecting the future of this country or city or state--no matter how small the matter voted upon.
----
-Abortion is as evil as what the Spartans did to any babies that they thought were weak. They would abandon them, leaving them to die of hunger or thirst or to be eaten by wild animals. Abortion is just as evil and barbaric as that only it's done in sterile hospital rooms and the baby isn't even out of the womb yet. It's still in what should be a safe place from the dangers of the world.
----
On a lighter note, I found this quote, which I love very much.
"A real friend is one who helps us to think our best thoughts, do our noblest deeds, and be our finest selves."

About the abortion thing, not to sound like I'm makeing a joke or anything, but the babies that are being aborted don't even have a say in what happens. I mean, I know that they can't decide for themselves yet, but still, I would hate to find that someone just decided that I don't need to be alive anymore, and didn't even talk to me about it. It would make me very sad. :(
I like the quote you have there, I think that saying was on my flip calender, or at least something like it, I can't remember. One saying that I know was on my calender, and is one of my favorites is, "I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future."
Wow, that's a great quote!
