Superman Returns

Yesterday, I watched "Superman Returns" for the first time. Well, I thought it was awesome--didn't care much for the ending, though. I loved Brandon Routh as Superman!!!!! He reminds you of Christopher Reeves and the way he portrayed Superman was wonderful. What he brought to the character was a very kind, caring, gentlemanly and yet tough guy. I haven't gotten that as much from other Superman-guys [such as Tom Welling from Smallville and Christopher Reeves] but then again, maybe I'm slightly biased.

I thought the special effects were awesome! And I thought the colors of the movie were cool--I sound weird, don't I? I also liked that the red in Superman's costume was more burgundy--more manly than the bright red, I think.

I also LOVED Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor. I like him much better than Gene Hackman in that character. Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor wasn't as goofy.

The little boy who played Lois Lane's son is such a cute little boy! I love him!

Didn't like Kate Bosworth's Lois Lane but then again, I don't usually like the female [that's a kind of weird word] love interests these days [one that I did like, though, was Rachel Weisz's character in "The Mummy"].

I liked "Superman Returns" and the richness in its color. The actors were great and so were the special effects. It's a must-see.
