Well, I got an E-mail last night (October 31st) from the director of that musical. She said that I had been wonderful at the audition. She then went on to say that she'd only had three parts for women that involved lines and such (Polly, the widow, and Becky). I guess I was too young for Polly and the widow but too old for the part of Becky. Then she basically said that she wanted me to be in the chorus. Being in the chorus, I wouldn't have any lines or solos (I will get to sing, though) but I thought that would be better than no part at all! She said that if I didn't have anything else going on (she said that I could "easily" get a good part in another play) that she wanted me in Tom Sawyer! They have already started rehearsals and I would have to catch up on the music but--I'm so excited! I thought that I hadn't gotten any part but I did! My first musical (outside of church) ever!
I really must go. I'll talk more later. BYE!
I'M SO EXCITED!
