Here is a story that I wrote to help me and my friend, Patti to remember our vocabulary words for this week. The story does not make a lot of sense (especially that a little gir would be using such big words) and I may not have used them right but oh, well...
A girl sat on a bench in a park, looking OBFUSCATED. An elderly man sat down beside her and said in a very RAUCOUS voice, "You seem to be in a QUANDARY. What is the matter?"
"Well," the little girl replied, "My very NEFARIOUS mother is MALCONTENT towards my LACKADAISICAL father because he can't keep a job. So she made a SANCTION with him that if he got fired again that she would drop me off at a park. I heard and told my PALATIAL grandmother (who is very IDIOSYNCRATIC). She was going to come but then mother stole her car. Now I'm all alone."
The elderly man became JUDICIOUS and decided to take the girl home and to adopt her.
THE END
