Lots of crazy things are happening! Check these out.
1. Astronomers have found a new planet (#10) in the outer reaches of the solar system. It's deffinetely bigger than Pluto. It hasn't officially been named yet but the planet's temporary name is 2003 UB313. The planet was discovered by Dr. Mike Brown, of the California Institute of Technology, Chad Trujillo, of the Gemini Observatory in Mauna Kea, Hawaii, and David Rabinowitz, of Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. 2. Japanese scientists have unveiled the most human-looking robot yet devised - a "female" android called Repliee Q1. It is very realistic. It has flexible silicone for skin rather than hard plastic, and a number of sensors and motors to allow it to turn and react in a human-like manner. She can only sit as of now but they are probably working on that. To learn more and to see a picture of her/it go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4714135.stm
I sn't that crazy? The one about the android is kind of freaky. I mean, I see this and am reminded of movies such as The Matrix, I Robot, and other movies where robots (or whatever) take control or (as in A.I.) become so realistic that they can sometimes replace people. It kind of scares me.
Well, how are you (the people who are looking at this blog that I know)? I hope that you are all doing very well. But I don't know if you don't comment! Thank you for your time.
