Encouraged

Well, I've been having issues lately...maybe a little too much thought on "romance" [roll the R, if you like]. So Saturday and Sunday when I couldn't take it anymore, I opened the Bible to distract me.

So one of the places where I have page holders in my Bible is in Song of Solomon. When I opened my Bible Sunday, it went right to that place. I thought, yeah, I don't think Song of Solomon is the right book to be reading to STOP having romantic thoughts. But I decided to start reading it anyway. So I was reading chapter 8 when I came to this verse [and that's when I realized why I was reading Song of Solomon instead of something else]:

"I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
Do not stir up nor awaken love
Until it pleases
."

Wow. I KNOW that had to be a God thing. Now, I want you to know I'm not one to go around saying "God told me this" or "God told me that" but I really think it had to be God.

There's pretty much no way that that could NOT be a God thing.

(sorry, short comment)
