Oh, great happiness of mine!
The "short" story is now almost 31 pages long on lined paper. I worked on it while we were gone on our trip and everything. I'm quite happy--no, no--I'm VERY, EXTREMELY, and UTTERLY JUBILANT! It is finished! Well, the first draft is anyway. Now I need to type it up on the computer, edit it, and all that. So far the name of it is "Lexicon the Prequel--a short story" but I don't know...I may change it. But now, after writing this, I know how Lexicon gets from his planet to ours and what his life was like before he came here, etc. Maybe when I type it up I'll let you read it, if you want to. Well, I just wanted to share my happiness with you!

I have all of these stories in my head, but I could never get them out on paper. lol. It seems like all of my friends are writing books during the summer. I just don't fit in. What a bummer...
