Here's something that bothers me: when in a movie there's the bad guy and you're like "Urgh!"--because that's the bad guy and you're supposed to be like "Urgh!" when there's a bad guy--but then later on he becomes an ally or comic relief or something. And then it's just "oh, you know, it's just so-and-so" as though he's no big deal.
I want to be able to know who the bad guy is most of the time--unless, of course, it's one of those things where you're supposed to figure out who it is but making a former bad guy a fun, happy guy doesn't make sense to me!
Okay, for instance, in the first POTC [Pirates of the Caribbean] movie the two somewhat funny pirates [one of them said "ello, poppet"] are bad guys. Well, in the second POTC movie they're not really bad--maybe just a little nuisance. And then
****SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!**** at the end of POTC2, when Barbosa comes out to help them, I was like, "no...come ON!"
*end of spoiler alert* [I don't think I helped at all]
*shakes head* In movies and there's a bad guy let him BE a bad guy! I understand if there's a smaller bad guy that he might learn from his badness but in neither of these instances did these characters change--only their status...and I don't like that.
I don't know...do you understand what I'm saying? *sigh*
