Well, I'm rewriting SOTM. It gets better each time I rewrite any of it. I decided to call the main character A'endra [pronounced "AYN-druh"]. I gave the first draft to a writer friend of mine to critique it. She said it was a great story. She is going to send me an e-mail and say more about it.
I have finally found something I don't like to do at the library--do anything in the adult books area! Ugh! Well, maybe I just had a bad experience. Hopefully, it will be better next time.
I should be going to a friend's house to learn a little guitar Sunday or Monday--to see if I really do want to do it or not. I hope I am willing to go through with it. I really want to make my own music. It's weird--I have this picture in my mind of me sitting on my bed [when I get my own room, which we're still working on] in front of the window, bare-footed, playing the guitar and singing.

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
Aldous Huxley, "Music at Night", 1931English critic & novelist (1894 - 1963)
