You must be thinking, "holy cow! Not that! I've heard enough about New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina for a whole lifetime!" Fine, be that way. My non-educated opinion is that they should all just leave New Orleans because one of these days it's going to happen again...and again. Why use up billions (or millions of $) to fix something that's going to break and probably kill more people? What's the point? Because New Orleans is so grand? I don't think so. Start a new life, people! A life without a possibility of your city being flooded because it's below sea level! I don't get it.
Well, anyway, it's been a while since I last posted. How's everybody? I'm doing good. Yesterday, my family and I went to this picnic with our homeschool group. I had fun walking through the sprinklers/sprayers/whatever and getting soaked. I talked to this one guy (who just happens to be 14 just like me) who I'd met once before at teen game night. His name's Scott. He's really nice and pretty talkative. I enjoyed his company.
Speaking of which, this Thursday night is teen game night! My sister, Hannah, will also be going to a game night (for the "upper elementary"). I'm excited as always but I'm also a little more excited because I think I may have a new friend there now (Scott). Well, I need to go now. Bye.
Sincerely,
Cat
